  • Bridging the Digital Divide:

    Enhancing Access for Indigenous Entrepreneurs

Indigenous businesses contribute over $30 billion annually to Canada’s economy. Yet, digital barriers—from high Internet costs and unreliable broadband to limited access to digital tools and training—continue to hold them back. By closing the digital divide, we can unlock billions more in economic activity, create jobs, and strengthen Canada’s global competitiveness.
The Indigenous Prosperity Foundation is proud to release Bridging the Digital Divide: Enhancing Access for Indigenous Entrepreneurs in Canada, a report that presents real solutions to unlock economic growth and opportunity.

  • Digital Equity in Action – IPF + TELUS Webinar

Watch this national conversation on digital equity, reconciliation, and community-driven collaboration.

Hosted by the Indigenous Prosperity Foundation in partnership with TELUS, the full webinar is now available on IPF’s YouTube channel.

In partnership with TELUS, IPF hosted a webinar exploring how connectivity can support reconciliation when guided by Indigenous leadership, shared responsibility, and long-term relationship-building.

Moderated by Michelle Okere, Executive Director of IPF, the session brought together guest speakers James Delorme and Marissa Nobauer to examine how corporate and community partnerships can help bridge digital divides across Indigenous communities.

    The conversation explored:

    • TELUS’ long-term reconciliation and infrastructure commitments
    • What community-led innovation looks like in practice
    • How digital equity can become a shared pathway to prosperity

Building on IPF’s Bridging the Digital Divide report, the discussion moved beyond the numbers to explore real-world collaboration and how Indigenous leadership and corporate strategy can work together to close the digital gap and shape a more connected, inclusive future.
